The Charleston Tea Plantation
If you are a tea lover, the Charleston Tea Plantation at http://www.charlestonteaplantation.com/ is the only tea plantation in the US. The visitor center provides a tour of the plant, the plantation and the gift shop. It is a nice diversion from the city.
